Arteriotomy Scissors w/ tungsten carbide inserts, serrated lower blade, 7-1/2" (19.0 cm) Potts-Smith Arteriotomy Scissors are designed for use in arteriotomy procedures and thus makes them ideal for use in many different cardiothoracic surgeries. This handheld instrument is crafted with two sharp blades for clean incision and dissection or arteries such as during arteriotomies. Some unique features of these scissors are the golden handles as well as the additional support of tungsten carbide inserts and a serrated lower blade that helps reduce slippage and facilitates clean cuts without tearing. This instrument is available in three different angle measures: 25, 45 and 60 degrees.

Artery Scissors flat handle, 6-3/4" (17.0 cm) Mills Circumflex Scissors are ideally suited for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. More specifically this scissor is designed at a 125 degree angle making it the perfect contour to follow along the path of the circumflex artery that runs in a curve around the heart. Additionally, this instrument features a 1.0 mm ball tip and is designed for easy gripping and maneuverability. This instrument is polished to a dull, satin finish to reduce glare under operating room lights.

Artery Scissors - supercut, 7" (17.5 cm) Diethrich Coronary Artery Scissors are handcrafted from surgical grade German stainless steel. The long Supercut blades are available in a range of angles (25, 45, 60, 90, 120 degrees) to accommodate cardiovascular procedures such as arteriotomies. The black-coated ring handles help the surgeon to maintain a comfortable grip. Supercut scissors are designed to provide the surgeon with maximum control. These scissors feature specially-designed razor sharp upper blade edges to cut effortlessly and cleanly through dense or delicate tissue, have diamond-cut micro-serrations on the lower blade to grip tissue and prevent slippage, and feature black-coated handles.
