Richardson Retractor contains a lamb handle and is 9 ½" in overall length. This retractor may be used in medical procedures that usually involve the chest or abdomen. Due to the curved blade, the surgeon is able to hold onto soft tissue and pull it away from the area being operated. Volkmann Retractor is a standard pattern, handheld instrument with a fenestrated handle. It is 8 ¾" in overall length and is available with a variety of curved prongs with sharp or blunt tips. The ideal purpose of this retractor is to divide, or retract, tissue in general surgeries.
