Sternal Retractors - Stainless Steel Cooley Sternal Retractors are ideally used during cardiothoracic procedures to help create and maintain a sufficient opening in the sternum to allow comfortable access to the surgical field. This instrument is forged from durable operating room grade stainless stell. This sternal retractor comes in a variety of different sizes to accommodate child and adult cases.

It features blue anodized titanium construction for more strength and less weight, and has an easily adjustable ratchet mechanism used to achieve the desired retraction. The titanium also makes this item non-magnetic.

This rib approximator comes equipped with extended three-pronged blades which gives it better gripping ability during rib approximation. A ratcheting mechanism with a large dial are used to set the claws at variable spreads and then bring them closer together.

This rib spreader has two arms, one of which can be adjusted to create the best fitting spread distance, as well as windowed blades to maintain uniform pressure over a larger surface area to reduce strain on the patient.
