This gouge features a large plastic handle that is easy to grip. Additionally this handle is sterilizable up to 143 degrees c making it well suited for use in multiple surgical procedures without the concern of contamination or infection. This instrument features a long slim neck that flares out into a flat wide blade perfect for scraping action along bone and also in actual cutting of bone. It is available in a wide variety of widths and two different lengths: 18 cm and 22 cm to accommodate a variety of surgical scenarios and surgeon preferences.

This instrument is a flat metal piece that tapers on one end and is slightly curved out of the plane of the handle. Osteotomes have the added benefit of being operated manually and thus the pressure can be adjusted readily as cuts are created and continued through bone. Additionally this osteotome does not have calibration lines. This instrument features a handle that narrows to a slim neck and again widens again to create a funnel type blade. This gouge is prefect for scraping or scooping bone or even in creating holes in the bone itself. The curvature of the blade makes it well contoured to bone and facilitates the cutting process. Additionally this instrument is available six widths: 8.0 mm, 10.0 mm, 12.0 mm, 15.0 mm, 20.0 mm and 25.0 mm making it highly versatile and useful in a wide variety of surgical scenarios.
