straight, 8" (20.0 cm) Stille Pattern Gouge is uniquely suited for use in neurosurgical procedures that require cutting and prepping bone. This instrument features a handle that narrows to a slim neck and again widens again to create a funnel type blade. This gouge is prefect for scraping or scooping bone or even in creating holes in the bone itself. The curvature of the blade makes it well contoured to bone and facilitates the cutting process. Additionally this instrument is available six widths: 8.0 mm, 10.0 mm, 12.0 mm, 15.0 mm, 20.0 mm and 25.0 mm making it highly versatile and useful in a wide variety of surgical scenarios.

This instrument is designed to be used manually to cut through bone. It offers many advantages over drills or mechanical tools such as increased sensitivity to adjust the level of force. Additionally this osteotome has the added benefit of featuring calibration lines. This osteotome is available in twelve widths in a straight profile as well as two widths in a curve profile. A full set of ten featuring straight and curved profiles is also available.

This chisel features a long shaft and on one end features a blunt, flat end for hammering while the other a sharpened blade style end. The lack of a designed handle area increases the versatile of this instrument because it can be gripped in any way that makes the surgical maneuver the most effective. This chisel is available in six different sizes in 2.0 mm increments from 4.0 mm to 14.0 mm making it well suited for small and large tasks.

9" (23.0 cm) Swan Neck Gouge is an instrument designed for gouging or removing particular sections of bone. Additionally it can also be used as a chisel with increased force applied to it to split bone or to scoop out segments to increase access to the center. A unique feature of this particular gouge is the swan shaped curvature that allows it to access difficult to reach areas without obscuring the surgical field and keeping the handle out the plane of surgery.
