Also known as Love-Style Kerrisons, they feature traditional large handles and a 15.0 mm bite opening, unlike the smaller Micro Kerrison styles. This model also features a black ceramic surface treatment which provides unparalleled hardness and durability. The black and gold titanium nitride surface treatment hardens and protects the instrument body and cutting surface for a durable, smooth gliding action. These coated rongeurs do not need sharpening as often as traditional rongeurs, thus reducing operating costs and enhancing service life. Additionally it is available in 6", 7", 8", 9", 10" and 11" and at either 40 degrees or 90 degrees up or down making it well suited for a vast array of surgeries that require manipulation of very small and delicate tendons and cartilage.

The instrument can be easily disassembled and reassembled in just a few seconds. By pushing the release button on the body, the front handle can be pulled down and the upper shaft can be pulled backwards and up to remove completely. This model also features a black ceramic surface treatment which provides unparalleled hardness and durability. The black ceramic coating is designed to reduce the friction between metal surfaces, providing surgeons with a smooth, steady gliding action and a longer-lasting rongeur. The dark finish also reduces glare under operating room lights.

The instruments allow for more complete cleaning than traditional rongeurs without the added time of disassembly or risk of losing components on removable shaft models.
