This instrument is designed to clamp vessels to reduce or completely block blood flow during surgery to allow the procedure to continue in a certain anatomical location where the blood is no longer able to flow through. These clamps feature an angled shanks as well as jaws calibrate at 5 mm intervals. Additionally, this instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large to accommodate a variety of patient sizes and a the wide variety of vessels that this clamp can be used on.

Additionally, this clamp features a slightly looped, u-shaped clamp to provide optimal gripping capacity but also maintaining that hold consistently throughout the procedure.

Cooley Aorta Clamp Cooley Aorta Clamp is ideally suited for some cardiothoracic surgeries. This clamp is designed with a slight U-shaped hook shape to make a perfect tool for manipulation and clamping of the aorta. Additionally, these clamps are well suited for use in sectioning a specific portion of the aorta because they are created for easy handle a firm grip without causing any injury or damage to the vessel itself.
