This clamp feature angled shanks to increase the easy of access to the vessels as well as having a long thing jaw that allows it to move between deeper layers of tissue without displacing anything or injuring other organs of vasculature. This clamp is strong enough to provide the occluding force necessary but also is gentle enough to keep the carotid walls intact with minimal injury or bruising.

This clamp features jaws that are calibrated at 5.0 mm intervals but are still delicate enough for use in pediatric surgeries. This instrument is designed to keep a firm hold on the vessels that are being occluded but delicate enough not to bruise or tear the vessels thus reducing the amount of damage done to the patient. Additionally, this clamp features a slightly looped, u-shaped clamp to provide optimal gripping capacity but also maintaining that hold consistently throughout the procedure.
