Cooley Cardiovascular Clamp 2" (5.1 cm) curved jaws, 10-3/4" (27.3 cm) Cooley Cardiovascular Clamp is an ideal tool for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures that require clamping of vessels to prevent excessive bleeding. This instrument is designed with two inch curved jaws that allow for stable closure of vessel while maintaining gentle enough pressure on the vessel wall to prevent damage or tearing. Additionally, this clamp features a ratcheting mechanisms to keep the clamp locked in place during surgery.

This instrument is designed to clamp vessels to reduce or completely block blood flow during surgery to allow the procedure to continue in a certain anatomical location where the blood is no longer able to flow through. These clamps feature an angled shanks as well as jaws calibrate at 5 mm intervals. Additionally, this instrument is available in three sizes: small, medium and large to accommodate a variety of patient sizes and a the wide variety of vessels that this clamp can be used on.

It provides for a strong, secure and adjustable grip which can be used for closure of vasculature or secure clamping of soft tissue. The jaws are set at a slight angle so as to allow maneuverability while still maintaining pressure and control when clamping the intended area. This clamp features straight jaws, handles angled at 45 degrees and is available in two different jaws sizes.

Cooley Caval Occlusion Forceps 8-1/4" (21.0 cm) Cooley Caval Occlusion Forceps are specially designed vascular clamps for use in cardiothoracic surgical procedures. This instrument is designed with ring handles for ease in maneuvering and opening and closing and also a ratcheting mechanism to hold the forceps at a particular tightness. The most unique feature of these forceps is that each jaw features a half circle projection outwards which when the jaw is brought together forms a complete circular opening as well as the fact that the entire instrument is formed in a crescent type shape. This instrument is available with a number of different diameters to the opening in the jaws in 2 fr. Increments from 24 – 40 fr.
