Additionally, the jaws are calibrate at 5.0 mm intervals and this instrument is available with straight shanks and straight, curved or spoon jaws, or angled shanks with straight jaws making it possible to find a suitable instrument for the particular surgical procedure.

This clamp can be used to clamp vessels to reduce or stop blood flow to prevent the patient from losing an excessive amount of blood.
