Dressing Nonconductive Forceps Dressing Non-conductive Forceps are handcrafted with a smooth and durable, non-conductive nylon coating for electrosurgical procedures. Fully autoclavable, these forceps are available with either coated or exposed serrated, tapered tips. Both an 8" and 10" model is available with a serrated handle. Insulated forceps feature a smooth, durable, non-conductive nylon coating for LEEP, LLETZ and other electrosurgical procedures. The blue nylon resists abrasion and provides excellent insulation. These instruments are fully autoclavable, and can come in patterns with either exposed or coated tips to accommodate a range of clinical needs. Tungsten carbide, dissector end, 10" (25.0 cm) Evans Tissue Forceps are handcrafted from tungsten carbide for a durable and strong instrument with a crosshatched surface to provide a secure grip. Designed with a dissecting end and a long instrument length, this model assures that while dissecting or manipulation tissue the surgeon will have both a firm grip as well as an open visual field. Tungsten carbide forceps feature tips made from tungsten carbide, the hardest metal made for surgical instruments. Precision-milled serrations are formed onto the tungsten carbide inserts, resulting in pyramid-shaped teeth that provide a non-slip grip. Pyramid-shaped teeth align perfectly with each other to provide a durable and reliable grasp of the most delicate or toughest tissues, as well as needles, sutures, dressing materials and delicate vessels. Smooth tungsten carbide inserts are also available for delicate procedures. Spring tension allows for surgeons to maintain proper and consistent position, ensuring optimal grip without having to apply excess force. These forceps feature gold-plated handles.

Sponge Forceps 9-1/2" (24.1 cm) Fletcher (Javerts) Sponge Forceps are 9 ½" in overall length and include oval-shaped, serrated jaws that are available in different shapes, such as straight, curved, or s-curved. This instrument may be used to in a variety of ways during surgical operations such as to hold sponges or swabs, act as a clamp to stop bleeding, and may also aid in grabbing tissue.

Sponge Forceps 7" (17.8 cm) Foerster (Ballenger) Sponge Forceps are 7" in length and include the choice of serrated or smooth looped jaw tips in a straight or curved pattern. Although this forceps can be used in general surgical procedures, it is greatly used during gynecological procedures when certain parts in the body, such as the cervix, need to be grasped.
